Replays indicate the inside pitch hit Cabrera's shin as or in temporal proximity to Cabrera's bona fide attempt to strike the pitch, the call was correct. At the time of the ejection, the contest was tied, 0-0. The White Sox ultimately won the contest, 5-1.
