a 2-1 sinker from Diamondbacks pitcher Brandon McCarthy for a double to left fielder Adam Eaton, who threw to shortstop Chris Owings to catcher Miguel Montero as Dodgers baserunner R1 attempted to score. Replays indicate Young's left hand touched home plate prior to Montero's glove touching Young's arm, the call was incorrect. At the time of the ejection, the Diamondbacks were leading, 4-2. The Diamondbacks ultimately won the contest, 9-4.
