out and two on, Cubs batter Donnie Murphy attempted to check his swing on a 0-2 curveball from Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright, ruled a swinging strikeout by HP Umpire Cuzzi. Replays indicate Murphy appeared not have attempted to strike the pitch, the call was incorrect. At the time of the ejection, the Cardinals were leading, 6-1. The Cardinals ultimately won the contest, 6-1.
