ReplyDeleteby the way, give credit to Joe West for calming down Swisher.
andy looked terrible in this one...obviously not sure what was said, but he looks very aggressive up to the EJ
ReplyDeleteNot that I want to rock the boat or anything, but from that video, the ejection didn't look like it stemmed from the called third strike. To me, it looked like Francona got himself tossed because Andy was about to toss Swisher or he resented the fact that Andy was talking to Swisher how he was. Is there more to this ejection that I'm missing?
ReplyDeleteFrancona pulled a Jordan Baker there, throwing his gum to the grass.
ReplyDeleteI would bet real money that Swisher must have made a special trip out to first via the long route to make comments about that last pitch, which is a big no-no. Fletcher tried to walk away from Francona at least 3 times before he got tired of it, and got then rid of his problem.
ReplyDelete2 EJs in the last week for Francona - the Indians are falling back, and the frustration is getting there.
Just realized it was FLETCHER'S second EJ of the week - wow
ReplyDeleteNo need for the hand gestures, for sure.
ReplyDeleteJose Bautista got tossed by Gary Darling. What happened was the first pitch the Bautista took was a called strike that looked like it was at the knees. However Bautista thought it was low and then he struck out swinging, said something to Darling, got ejected and Bautista threw his bat and helmet on the field
ReplyDeleteBye bye Bautista, says Gary darling
ReplyDeleteI have to agree.
ReplyDeleteam on the only one waiting for fletcher's eyes to pop out of his head?
ReplyDeleteThe last time I saw that, it was Nyjer Morgan picking a fight with the St. Louis Cardinals.
