1B Umpire Marty Foster ejected Royals 2B Chris Getz for arguing an out call from a previous inning (unsportsmanlike-NEC) in the top of the 6th of the Angels-Royals game. In the bottom of the 5th inning, Getz grounded a 1-2 changeup from Angels pitcher Billy Buckner into a double play, Angels second baseman Howie Kendrick to shortstop Erick Aybar to first baseman Albert Pujols. Replays indicate Getz's left foot contacted the first base bag prior to Pujols receiving the throw, the call was irrecusable (arguing a call made during a previous inning). At the time of the ejection, the Angels were leading, 2-0. The Angels ultimately won the contest, 7-0.
This is Marty Foster (60)'s third ejection of 2013.
Marty Foster now has -2 points in the UEFL (-4 Previous + 2 MLB + 0 Irrecusable Call = -2).

Marty Foster has become ridiculous. The MLB has to do something about performance of calls, not just not knowing the rule book. Wouldn't be surprised to see Marty voted the "Worst Umpire in MLB", again.
Ron Gardenhire got heaved by Joe West
Bruce Bochy got ejected by Alfonzo Marquez
Repeat visit ejections are always Irrecusable.
Where's the first visit? ... I've looked at previous decisions. While there is not great precedent towards my argument, current appeals board members have ruled in my favor. So, I'm hoping it at least gets there.

This appeal has been summarily denied by the UEFL Appellate Interpreter.
As referenced in the aforementioned charge of appeal, UEFL Rule 6-2-b-5 specifies the Quality of Correctness for all ejections for reasons of, amongst others, Unsportsmanlike Conduct-NEC shall be adjudged irrecusable by default unless there is clear and convincing evidence to suggest otherwise.
Pursuant to Rule 6-5-c, Quality of Correctness "only applies to the call made directly prior to ejection," unless certain exemptions, such as a Post-Inning, Pitching Change or Balls/Strikes Exemption applies. Because the ejection occurred over one full half-inning after the call in question, no such exemption can apply and, therefore, Quality of Correctness can not apply.
Because QOC can not apply, it cannot be incorrect nor correct, as in Rule 4-2-b (League Scoring; "the quality of correctness component is present in all ejections that are not exempted by Rule 6-2-b-5"). Therefore, Unsportsmanlike Conduct-NEC [Not Elsewhere Classified] is the applicable Reason for Ejection, unapplied QOC must be irrecusable for points cannot be issued by rule. Pursuant to Rule 9-1, the UEFL Appellate Interpreter has deemed an ejection wherein a Quality of Correctness can not, by rule, apply, shall be associated with the Unsportsmanlike Conduct-NEC reason as a result of the QOC-exempted Rule 6-2-b-5.
Appeal summarily denied pursuant to Rule 6-2-b-5. Certiorari denied.
