Talk about a bang bang play. Great call by D.J.
ReplyDeleteI think he knew for sure he got it right, based on the way he dealt with Melvin. That's a dandy of a call, right there! Good on ya', DJ.
ReplyDeleteAnother black eye for Reyburn... karma's a b!tch isn't DJ
ReplyDeleteYou lost me, "Guest". The runner is CLEARLY out (even the announcers acknowledge that after the replay). In fact, it's not even as close as it appears. OUT.
ReplyDeleteDon't think anyone has ever questioned Reyburn's ability to umpire -- moreso just his ability to handle situations. Nice call here.
ReplyDeleteAtta boy, DJ! Great call! Making the state of Tennessee proud!
ReplyDelete... and how he "big leagues" other guys off the field - calling fellow umpires "Plumbers" - what a DB! See you in NCAA ball soon... and just hope you don't get me as your crew chief
ReplyDeleteGreat call by DJ and he handled the situation very well. Concerned he threw his shoulder out when ejecting Melvin. :)
ReplyDeleteSomeone is jealous that they're not working MLB games....
ReplyDeleteAwwww! Jelly, much?
ReplyDeleteJealous??? Hardly. I'm perfectly fine with my wife, two kids, a career w/ nearly six figure income and still umpiring at a fairly high level. Oh, did I mention sleeping in my own bed and spending the entire year with family.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, this is not about who officiates what... it's about how you treat people. I think its great that DJ is working MLB games but why do you have to shove it up people's a$$?
