Replays indicate Rodriguez successfully avoided Arencibia's tag and touched the point of home plate, the call was incorrect. In the 9th, with two out and two on, Encarnacion swung and missed a 1-2 splitter from Rays pitcher Brandon Gomes for a third strike. Replays indicate the called strike two pitch was located navel high and off the inner edge of home plate (px -1.110), the call was incorrect. At the time of the Maddon ejection, the Blue Jays were leading, 1-0. At the time of the Encarnacion ejection, the Blue Jays were leading, 6-4. The Blue Jays ultimately won the contest, 6-4.
