HP Umpire Tim Timmons ejected Tigers 3B Miguel Cabrera and 3B Coach Gene Lamont for unsportsmanlike-NEC in the top of the 4th inning of the Tigers-Angels game. With one out and one on, Cabrera took a 2-0 cutter and 2-1 fastball from Angels pitcher C.J. Wilson for called first and second strikes. Cabrera would ground into a double play before teammate Prince Fielder struck out on a foul tip. Replays indicate the pitches were correctly officiated (both px and pz values well within acceptable ranges), though Cabrera and Lamont's post-inning ejections are unsportsmanlike-NEC by rule, the call was irrecusable. At the time of the ejections, the Angels were leading, 5-1. The Angels ultimately won the contest, 6-1.
These are Tim Timmons (95)'s second and third ejections of 2012.
Tim Timmons now has 2 points in the UEFL (-2 Previous + 2*[2 MLB + 0 Irrecusable Call] = 2).
Crew Chief Eric Cooper now has 2 points in the UEFL's Crew Division (0 Previous + 2 = 2).

ReplyDeleteGot this from Fox sports west, CCS, timmons ejecting lamont.
You may want to post a link to a file that's not on your computer...
ReplyDeleteHaha, that's funny.
ReplyDelete@ BABACop 9:18 I got apple, what do i do?

ReplyDeleteHow is this Babacop, i did this through you-tube, awesome never used youtube like this before.
Your team is fighting for a playoff spot, and you are going to bitch and whine and get tossed...
ReplyDeleteThat's not MVP-quality material.
The Angels catcher butchered the pitch in the above video, but it was clearly a strike.
U da man Jim Joyce, CC well deserved, he should work the world series along with LAyne, Nelson, Gorman, Kellogg, Davis
ReplyDeleteLast 12 sec watching that clip almost made me cry, and wanted to give him a big hug, great ump, take notes Jerry meals, New york, and pittsburgh not happy.
ReplyDeleteAnd naturally in the ten minutes between my last refresh and writing that comment the thread went back on track...
ReplyDeleteCompletely cluttering it LOL, curious, what do you do for a living Russ? I know you have no life because all you do is comment on this website. This is not your email account. Delete it, i don't care, I contributed to the ejction video.
ReplyDeleteBryan, I don't care if you post videos from time to time and some of your info and questions about which crew is where is interesting, but you do not need to post all of these videos. It is too much and doesn't add anything. It would also be nice for you to act older than 5 years old when you get called out.
ReplyDeleteOk Russ, fine you win, your right, but i still watch alot of baseball, and therfore contribute to the threads, I like CCS alot. Im impressed you knew it was me posting the different crews, touch'e.
ReplyDelete...wow.
ReplyDeleteAny News on the injured umps coming back from injury. I doubt it because the regular season is almost over.

ReplyDeleteTimmy timmmons should have 2 points on the leader board not -1.
It's too bad Timmons didn't take care of business the first time around. This escalated into a $hit$storm because it wasn't dealt with at the time is should have been.
ReplyDeleteThat was going to be my question...Why in the world did Timmons not toss him while he was standing at the plate arguing?
ReplyDelete@Anonymous 12:42 PM, Timmons does have 2 points as a Primary Umpire with three ejections. As a Secondary Umpire, Timmons has -1. Recall that Secondary Umpires receive one fewer base point per ejection than Primary MLB Umpires.
