Video: Though he scored a run, Worth is ejected after continuing to argue a 6th inning foul call (TOL/UEFL)
Talk about not letting it go. The guy gets on base and scores... That's just stupid to get tossed there.
ReplyDeleteAnother notable ejection was everybody's favorite call-up Umpire Angel Campos who ejected Las Vegas LF Daniel Perales from his position in Left Field. He had been called out on strikes in the previous inning. That was Campos 6th ejection in the PCL and 12th ejection overall this season. (8/28)
ReplyDeleteAny Word on the injured Ed Rapuano, Bruce Dreckman, Hunter Wendlstedt, etc.
ReplyDeleteCan anyone tell me, CCS if this regulars are working in the minor leagues A,AA, AAA games so are any of them close to return?
ReplyDeleteNelson Cruz ejected by Bill Welke. After striking out swinging he slammed his bat on home plate and it broke, then Cruz said something to Welke and was tossed. There was a questionable strike call during that at-bat.
ReplyDeleteThe splintered part of the bat nearly hit Welke.
ReplyDeleteSurprised to hear that Worth got tossed, not surprised that Campos had an ejection, as for the soccer red card, insulting the ref's mother? Not smart.
ReplyDeleteHow does CCS know about the specifics of these? I had an ejection earlier in year, and it was on their twitter feed before the game was over, and knew what it pertained to even.
