With two out and one on, Diamondbacks pitcher Tyler Skaggs attempted to pick off Marlins baserunner R1 Jose Reyes, Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt to second baseman Aaron Hill. Replays indicate Skaggs legally performed his pickoff maneuver, stepping toward first base and not making a natural motion to commit him to the pitch, the call was correct. At the time of the ejection, the contest was tied, 2-2. The Diamondbacks ultimately won the contest, 3-2.
