With two out and three on, Diamondbacks batter Chris Young took a 1-2 sinker from Pirates pitcher Tony Watson for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was thigh high and over the inside corner of the plate, the call was correct. At the time of the ejection, the Pirates were leading, 7-5. The Pirates ultimately won the contest, 7-6.
