1B Umpire Brian Knight ejected Padres Manager Bud Black for arguing an out call in the bottom of the 7th inning of the Reds-Padres game. With one out and one on, Padres batter Cameron Maybin hit a 1-2 slider from Reds pitcher Mat Latos to second baseman Brandon Phillips, who threw to first baseman Joey Votto as Maybin attempted a head-first slide into first base.
