HP Umpire Sam Holbrook ejected Nationals Bench Coach Pat Corrales for arguing a strike one call in the top of the 9th inning of the Nationals-Reds game. With none out and one on, Nationals batter Rick Ankiel took a 0-0 fastball from Reds pitcher Nick Masset for strike one. At the time of the ejection, the Nationals were leading, 4-3. The Reds ultimately won the contest, 5-4, in 14 innings on a walk-off home run.
