With none out and one on, Pirates batter Garrett Jones took a 3-2 curveball from Reds pitcher Homer Bailey for a called strike three. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the heart of the plate and below the midpoint between the shoulders and top of the jersey pants, the call was correct. At the time of the ejection, the Reds were leading, 6-2. The Reds ultimately won the contest, 11-8.
