With two out and none on, Kinsler was ruled to have swung at 0-2 slider from Royals pitcher Danny Duffy for strike three. Replays indicate that Kinsler did not appear to make a swing attempt, but successfully checked his swing, the call was incorrect. QOC was challenged and the call is now correct.* At the time of the ejection, the Royals led, 5-3. The Rangers ultimately won the contest, 7-6, on a walk-off single.
