Anyway this is available for exemption on the basis of this?

If not, that should create an interesting discussion topic here anyhow.

He apparently mouthed off to Andy about a close play at first in the top of the inning.

I'm guessing some think an umpire should get "dinged" for an incorrect call the rest of the game, but personally, I already think these "exemptions" go too far.

Post-Inning Exemptions may only be granted (1) if the ejection occurs during an inning break immediately following the half inning in which the play to be argued occurred and (2) the ejection must undoubtedly be for this one specific call (UEFL Rule 6.e.iii.b). Furthermore, Rule 6.e.iii.c. specifies that an ejection over an argument regarding a previously ruled play shall be deemed "Unsportsmanlike Conduct-NEC," which must be "correct" by Rule 6.b.ii.e.

In regards to the actual Swisher/Napoli play at first, stand by for a case play.

What's he doing getting tossed in that spot... Oh, right, his team is losing 12-5 to the Yankees. Nothing to lose, right?

what does NEC stand for

@Anonymous RE: NEC, Unsportsmanlike-NEC means "Unsportsmanlike Conduct Not Elsewhere Classified." NEC is used for all those "misc" ejections that have no other explanation.

Lucky Yorvit didn't smack Andy in the face like he did to the ump in the winter league
