Ejections: Adrian Johnson (1)
1B Umpire Adrian Johnson ejected Rangers First Base Coach Gary Pettis for arguing an out call in the top of the 7th inning of the Rangers-Yankees game. With one out and one on, Rangers batter Elvis Andrus hit a 0-2 slider from Yankees pitcher Joba Chamberlain softly in front of the plate, catcher Russell Martin to first baseman Mark Teixeira. Replays indicate the ball entered Teixeira's glove slightly prior to Andrus' foot touching first base, the call was correct.* At the time of the ejection, the Yankees were leading, 5-4. The Yankees ultimately won the contest, 6-5.
