HP Umpire Dan Bellino ejected Twins P Glen Perkins for arguing balls and strikes after the top of the 9th inning of the Indians-Twins game. With two out and none on, Indians batter Yan Gomes hit a 0-0 slider from Perkins on a fly ball to second baseman Brian Dozier for the game's final out. Replays indicate Bellino made three calls of 'ball' during the preceding at bat resulting in a home run for Indians batter Carlos Santana; of these three pitches, all were properly officiated, the call was correct. At the time of the ejection, the Twins had won the game, 4-2.
