Replays indicate the next batter, Eduardo Nunez, experienced a delay in arriving to the batter's box and Hale argued this time delay, the call was irrecusable. At the time of the ejection, the Yankees were leading, 3-2. The Yankees ultimately won the contest, 3-2.
